Usman graduated from the University of Manchester Dental School in 2001 and joined the Specialist Orthodontic training programme at the Royal London Dental Institute in 2004. Here he obtained the Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
During his specialist training he completed a Masters Degree in Orthodontics awarded by the University of London. In addition to his academic awards he was also awarded the David DiBiase prize for Clinical Excellence.
His research and clinical interests include functional appliance therapy, cosmetic orthodontic treatments (Lingual and Clear Aligner techniques) and multidisciplinary orthodontics. As a member of the teaching faculty on the Royal London Postgraduate Orthodontic training programme he continues to be involved in the clinical and academic training of orthodontic specialist trainees - helping to train the next generation of orthodontists.
Dr Qureshi is dedicated to the development of hidden orthodontic techniques and he is a founding member of the Invisible Orthodontist Group (UK). This group of orthodontists based in the UK and Australia are dedicated to the development of invisible/hidden orthodontic treatment techniques. He has also been recognised as a Platinum Elite level clinician for both Invisalign and Incognito techniques having provided these techniques extensively for a number of years.
